People tend to think that taller people are more attractive. It's just something that is common. Tall guys seem more like men. Better built with larger torsos, more equiped to deal with life in general (usually guys, who have a larger frames, tend towards more physical aspects in life; which, in turn, tend towards better tuned and better looking bodies.) And the other side of that idea is women. How often do u hear about guyz talking about tall women and their legs and such. It'z considered elegant for a lady to be tall.

Considering these things, of course the taller people would be perceived more. I may get kicked in the ass by some short person for saying this; but, on the average, taller people are perceived as more attractive (and, yes, I know this isn't always the case) and tend to get noticed more than shorter people... ((Plus a giant tends to stand out in a crowd LOL)). So, realistically, when ur walking to the checkout lane, are you not looking at the people who are at the cash registers? When ur paying for ur stuff, do u not look in the other lanes to see who else is working there? We tend to head to the most attractive clerk--do we not? It'z not that we're more attracted to the tall person who can defend us against a sabertooth tiger NEmore.... We're more involved in looks and body language (read as, personality; but, before you have a chance to meet them, yet.),in this time, than our original and survivalist reasons for picking our mates that we had in our past.

That'z not an excuse, in any way, for our behaviour as humans; but, it'z interesting, in the least...
